Convair Model 48 Coin Charger Factory Desk ModelHi folks, up for sale is a original factory convair mdoel of the coin charger. This si a solid resin model on it's original stand.
I am not sure who made these for convair but in all the years i hvae been collecting this is only the second one i have seen. The model is complete however it has had it's tail re-attached at some point and the right side prop spinner has come un-glued. All the ordnance si still attached and the original stand is present. oN other breaks, repairs or touch-ups i can see.
The coin charger was in competition with the ov-10 bronco as a light armed reconnaissance airplane and we all know who won. This is not a big modle it measures 8 long with a wingspan of 7. I do not accpet paypal. I figure obama is going to be sliding it inside me soon and i need to keep all the cash i can get, besides i am tired of paying paypal fees.
Us postal money order or certified bank check accepted, i do not accept personal checks. Shipping to the us, ro canada only. Shipping will be determined at auction close based no location, don't worry, i charge only for actual shipping costs. I am a fellow collector so i am careful how my models are packed.
